From our research we believe that there is not an insurance carrier that has not suffered at the hands of fraudulent inspectors. Many have literally refunded or discounted millions of dollars from incorrect wind mitigation inspections and most inspectors don’t care. |
| |
As part of our dedication to insurance carriers, we have developed an automated wind loss calculator for inspections already conducted by other inspectors. Where carriers are undertaking second opinion inspections or quality assurance re-inspections, we have the system that can give you the results you need automatically!
| |
If given the original report is given to us, our inspector will use this feature on our system to identify and catalog the erroneous parts of the inspection reports based on the inspector’s findings. You simply click the error report link and review! The report will outline the erroneous percentage of each question which can further be broken down into county and ZIP codes. For example, carriers can identify the incorrect percentage rate for any question on the Standard OIR 1802 Mitigation Report.
| |
For example, if the opening protection of Palm Beach county homes, from a second opinion or quality assurance re-inspection program, identifies an error rate of 67%, then it is fair to say, depending on the number of re-inspections conducted, that the dollar value of all losses from incorrect reporting can be quickly calculated by applying the discount value to the erroneous percentage and multiplying by the number of policies in that county.

Only with centralized data can this happen!
